Weathering the storm

Monday, January 19th, 2009

Well, it’s been a slow start on this blog so far – a very slow start.  Since I’ve got a few moments right now, I decided to update it, and in honor of the weather predictions for late tonight and tomorrow, I’d like to remind everyone of the adventures the Triangle had in December 2002 / January 2003.  It was during this time that I experienced my first major “ice storm” – I lost power for two and a half days, surviving by sleeping right next to my gas-powered fireplace for warmth.

Doesn’t it bring back some wonderful memories?  :)

Or so I’m told.  This isn’t actually th beginning of an adventure, it’s a new kick on an old and still ongoing adventure.  I’ve been a hobbiest photographer for several years now, and throughout these years I’ve collected an array of images of North Carolina people and places.  I’m hoping to use this weblog to tell about them, and to keep everyone up-to-date on where I go, and maybe a few other things as well.

So, off we go…
